 Magnetic North Pole Expedition

Magnetic North Pole or Geographic North Pole ?

The terrestrial magnetic north moves with time, for this reason it does not coincide with the true north of the cards. This difference is called magnetic variation.

If the magnetic north coincided with the true north, it would be ideal. But actually, the magnetic pole of the Northern hemisphere is located at 1900 km of the geographical North Pole.

Today (March 2000), the magnetic north pole is located at :
79.7?North, 106.5?West
